Yeh but it's ok cos it's utility work & they call themselves "tree cutters "
as
opposed to arborists , also check out CBA 's website , guy up a tree with a
resistograph , no safety helmet.

Jon Astill (17/12/2004 14:02):
If you haven't already seen it, check out the photo on page 44 of Essential
Arb. Unecessary one-handed use of chainsaw, visibly slack chain, no strop
connecting saw to operator or bucket. Yes, it looks as if the chainsaw is not
running and the operator is just posing for the camera, but it sends out the
wrong kind of message in a professional publication. This is certainly not the
first time images such as this are published in arb and forestry mags. Does
nobody screen these photos before they're put to press? I've e-mailed the
editor.

There, I've had my festive whinge and feel better now.

Happy Christmas and thanks to all who have given me contacts and suggestions
for Holland.

Jonathan
