<<Well a few days late thanks to me being ill, then a load of relatives
turning up
for the weekend, but I've reviewed the entries for the Christmas competition
and the winner is....
Ben Rose for his ball wrenching golf club

Well remembered Chris. Thanks for refereeing, and for blowing my gift idea
of a year's subscription to the UKTC.
Congratulations Ben. I did say that I would award a prize didn't I? As
Christmas is not only an oxymoron, but traditionally a time for spending
considerable sums of money we don't have, on gifts that aren't needed, for
people who don't like them anyway, I thought it might be an idea to break
with the tradition and donate something on your behalf to a worthy
(tree-related?) cause: equivalent to say, a bottle of Albanian Champagne ;-)
What do you reckon? A hangover worthy of a trepanning, temporary loss of
sight, and a mouth like the bottom of a budgie's cage? Or a sense of
wellbeing? Not that I'm trying to direct you in any way.
Trusting everyone had a Merry Christmas, and all the best for the New Year.
Cheers
