its also apity the sheffield guys cant get together and chew the fat ,havent
they heard of togs ,there is one in yorkshire somewhere.
Thanks for that Hay site Eric, clear as Turkey soup now.
As for TOGs, yeah there is a Greater Yorkshire TOG dunno if anybody goes?
(John Tesh?) The trouble with Sheffield is it's sort of on the edge of
Derbyshire/Midlands/North Notts and everywhere seems miles away to some
people.
I got Ted Green up for an evening in Sheffield once and the event was
extremely well attended by the Climbers and the Parks guys but not a Planner
in site
and I did nag them (who'd've thought?)
I did bit of a saw bench demo 18 months ago at a local S Yorks Forest event
which was quite well attended but it was down to me to introduce the
Rotherham
TO to the Sheffield DLO and again, not a planner in site!
I do keep trying though, I keep bleating on to them about singing from the
same hymn sheet, I get the feeling that the LA generally don't regard tree
matters as sufficiently important, my 12 page appraisals regularly get
reduced to
half a dozen words by the planning committee, and they don't even bother
getting a TO to reply.
Ho hum, back to another planning appy report.
Bill.
