Yes, but in those days the bits of string formed vests and underwear,
stilettos were owned by the Mob, and thongs were worn on your feet. And as
for King John, he was washed up early on, and Robin had not yet met Batman,
so really, life was a lot simpler and we could simply play in the oak
without fear of falling over on discarded needles, assorted rubber goods,
and spliffs.

On topic, I wonder if the distribution of 'nice' trees under TPO will be
skewed from wealthy to poor areas? Out here we see lots of requests for
removals by the neaveau riche because honeydew drips on the beamer, or
conkers land on the Jag etc. In the poorer areas, general neglect seems to
actually help with tree retention since they have no value and nobody cares
about them - retention by economic default?
