Looking at this from a less politically charged perspective, if I had 8
items in my shopping basket and only enough cash for 5, I would first
decide which ones I could rule out - say the lavender bath salts, rose
hip tea and scooby doo video. I think that's pretty much how i
intuitively make decisions. My children would probably look at it from
the other angle and try to keep everything in the basket, starting with
the sooby doo video.
