If anyoneis interested the RPA calculation can be used on an Excel
spreadsheet using the following formula
=SUM((((A1*12)/1000)^2)*3.142 for single stemmed trees
=SUM((((A1*10)/1000)^2)*3.142 for multistemmed trees
A1 is the result cell so the formula will need to be typed into B1 (which is
where you will type in your stem dia (in mm)
You will nned separate cells for single and multistemmed trees so just change
A1 to A2 or whatever cell you wish to type in your calculation.
If you wish I will put a completed table on site
