Not sure what u mean there Scott. Round to 10?

the 12 relates to single stemmed trees being *12 the dia
and multiple stemmed trees being *10 the dia

do you mean using Y for single stem and anything else for multiple?

Thats probably easier way

And if you do not always round to 10 it would be quite simple to either
build in a cell with "Y" or "N" as an entry variable and operate on that
condition or alternativey a cell with a numeric value to round to. I
think I like the latter becuase then that variable is right there in the
open not buried in a formula.

 I think you can expand on this and use the logical operators. I dont use
 Excel much but notice that my version has condition testing.

 you could do something like         IF A3=1    true=12    false=10

 (where A3 holds a stem count, and the target cell creates the multiplier)


 then go further towards the end and trim the extent.


            IF A8>15    true=15

 (where A8 is the calculated rad)
