John,

I believe a number of people take the attitude that if they contest such
a case and loose, the risk of the verdict becoming common local knowledge
could result in a spate of unauthorised pruning of TPO'd trees that happen
to overhang a boundary.

   I to am not surprised that Mynors is right.

For what it's worth I've first hand experience re this in the Courts and
Mynors is right!!  No surprises there then.



I am surprised others have not had the same experience or is everyone
just keeping shtum??
