RE: Varying TPOs

A new Order would be messy in this instance.

I suspect the 'correct' solution is to confirm and then vary. The
sensible but technically incorrect solution is to write to all those
affected by the additions to say we intend adding trees by modifying at
confirmation and request any objections to the proposal within 28 days.

John,

It would seem in the interests of clarity, better to make a new order
for the additional trees which you want to protect. More so if they
are at a different address. Consultation still has to take place
whether you vary the existing one for these xtra trees or make a new
order.

Alternatively, confirm the order and then vary it afterwards if the
trees are at the same address.

Just a suggestion.

Yes, but the blue book seems to be referring to the varying of
confirmed
Orders. Just as you can't revoke an unconfirmed Order, I have an
inkling
that, technically, you can't vary one either. If unconfirmed, would
the
original lapse and take the variation with it?

Good morning all -

Does anyone know if you can vary an unconfirmed Order (No objections
to
the Order but I want to add trees)?
