Sorry to interrupt the hunting thread (just as we got to bare-handed
slaughtering too) - but just to update and complete the last varying
TPOs thread -

His Nicholsonship was, of course, right again. I had it from the horse's
mouth that there is no reason you can't vary an unconfirmed TPO provided
full objection procedure followed for additional trees added.

I think you can if you have reason to. Always go back to the powers in
statute. Section 333(7) of the 1990 Act talks about the powers to make
an
order shall include powers to revoke and vary. The word 'make' is
important
as the 1999 Regs, in setting out powers, seems to me to separate
'making' an
order from 'confirming' an order. 
Its still a charge on the property isn't it?
