There surely must be A source which lists all changes. If not, and the
numerous recent ones, (Ustulina, Cedrus (x several) Leylands,)just filtering
down to us at random, then how many more are we missing ?
Er dunno Dave, I presume you got to IPNI?

Mind you I just stuck in your B lutea and it never mentioned alleghaniensis.
No straightforward reference to change in name of Leyland either. Didn't Jim
or Jerry point out that Ustulina has been Kretzchmaria since 1930something?
Seems we're all working from out-of-date books, then again look how many
websites haven't been updated in a couple of years.
To a certain extent, the level we're working at, does it matter if we're a
couple of years behind? If it gets critical somebody'll take great joy in
either
putting us right or showing off his up-to-date knowledge. I routinely use
common names only reverting to the botanical if something desperately needs
clarification. As most of my clients can't even pronounce 'Arboriculturist'
Liriodendron is a non-starter.
