Don't do it - it will look a pig's ear. 200 years is nota red letter day
for a yew and since they respond so well to reduction why not do just
that.

Russell Ball at Harrow BC has asked me to post the following message:

A 200 yr. old Yew in East Sussex: there are number of large
limbs going over a public footpath (that cant be moved) so an
iron framework is needed to support the aforementioned
limbs...... does anyone on UKTC know of anyone that can specify
the type of framework (re: loadbearing) and carry out the work.

I'll pass all relevant replys back to him.
