Ed I didn't realise you wanted to do such an extensive exercise - you
might find that the US Marines have some experience in this but I'm not
sure that 24D is licensed anymore.

Jerry I am looking at thinning to waste by killing trees rather than
felling
them. I am personally uncomfortable with the use of pesticides but like
any
other course of action I intend to weigh up the pros and cons before
making
the intervention. The site is a PAWS (plantation on ancient woodland
site)and certainly this course of action has its place in management for
nature conservation, more typically on heathland restoration projects
etc.

Mauget are the people, but I don't know to what extent they've
