Just had another thought, we've got a fair bit of hornbeam around too,
would that be any good? I assume that'd need an understorey of some
kind, or could we achieve some growth lower down by coppicing.
None if our established trees seem to be unhappy, it's just a case of getting them through the first couple of years (I hope)
