Dear Forum
Scenario:
TO colleague gives tree opinion on planning app.
No tree issues as all trees felled pre-app.
DC's recommendation is to grant permission.
Members refuse on tree grounds (that there were trees there).
Applicant going to public inquiry.
I may be asked to contradict my colleague's advice.
Which I want to refuse to do.
Planners saying it's OK for colleague to contradict.
I'm not a town planner & prefer to take my guidance from other TOs / arbs.
Any thoughts?
Ta.
Jon
