Overall they're all pretty much in line with my own views; that an
allegation of dampness is, on it's own, not nearly a good enough reason
to condemn a tree. Trouble is, this is only one of a number of
objections raised against this tree... it would be nice to be able to
dismiss dampness with some authority.
Mind you, John's comparison with the situation of 'detached' dwellings
with a bare half metre air gap is quite telling...
