People tramping around a woodland is not necessarily a good thing.
I think if you test the method you will find the balance is about right,
though please let me know if you get anomalous results: clearly there
shouldn't be and so a tweak may be required if this was so (though user
familiarity is bound to be a factor too).
Like TEMPO, I expect W-TEMPO to go through several minor revisions as user
experience identifies improvements. I am relaxed about this, as all other
tree assessment systems have been modified since inception and such things
tend to improve with time.

I write advise that TEMPO's cousin, Woodland TEMPO (which does exactly what
it says on the tin) is now available for free, yes free, download from the
FLAC website.
As this is being offered free (did I mention that already?) I hope no-one
