Similar situation up here; I'm not sure if we're only at the beginning of  
this epidemic, there certainly seem to be more seriously affected trees 
around  
this year. Have to say that nearly every tree I see that's dying has got  
numerous other factors, root damage, compaction, stock damage, chemical  
damage(?).
