It is entirely up to the individual contractors as to what lists they
wish to be included on.

I can't speak for everyone but we do recommend that tree surgeons are AA
approved or that they come recommended from a trusted source such as a
friend or neighbour. We would never recommend individuals. I sometimes
think this is a bit of a shame as there are some quality tree surgeons
in our district who are not AA approved and, according to them, are
never likely to be.
