Has anyone got a workable and root friendly solution for roadway curbing
and footway pavement construction? The road is specified as no dig and I
have a lovely generic diagram of the usual sort. Trouble is there is
another generic diagram showing conventional pavement and curb stone/
edge stone construction which is even nearer the Oak I am trying to
protect. I can't find anything at all online and this is an issue I seem
to be coming across with increasing regularity. I can't suggest that the
developer remove the tree because it is off site (just!).

Alastair
