Be careful. Make sure they have really not confirmed the order. The
notice could have got lost in the post.

I would be grateful for your advice on this.

The tree is in a Conservation Area. A S211 notification was given to the
LPA of the intent to fell, but they made a provisional TPO valid for six
monthsor until confirmed by the Planning Committee.

The six months has now expired and the LPA have not confirmed the Order.

I know the LPA can confirm at any time in the future (and probably will
at the next Committee meeting), but can the owner fell it now without
falling foul of the Conservation Area legislation ? I would think not,
as a S211 notice was given and the LPA made a TPO.

Can anyone give a definitive answer ?

Thanks

Rodger
