Hi,
It seem there are a million methods of treating this so to add to the
confusion.
Allow plant to go through to full growth. Do not cut. Wait until August when
the plant is showing signs of degeneration and then weed wipe with
Glyphosate.
Theory: Plant has started to shut down photosynthetic processes and so
absords
Glyphosate but cannot produce enough growth to overcome the systemic
herbicide.
Review and repeat following season if required.
We have had a 95% eradication rate in the first year.
If plants are growing in a place where you cannot weed wipe e.g. through
hedge.
Inject stems during same period. The effect is not as good, usually take 2
seasons to eradicate.
Important thing is never to cut, either before or after application.
Best of luck
