Quite common all over Germany, the annual growth rate of infected trees tends 
to zero. Bad news: We now have Aesculus infected with Pseudomonas syringae 
which may be a result of compromised vitality of Leaf-miner infected trees.

We seem to have a heavy infestation in the Lewes District Area (Sussex)
- the first sightings were only two years ago and now it seems to be on
every HC is see! What's it like elsewhere and what is the prognosis for
Horse Chestnut in the light of Bleeding Canker (also prolific
hereabouts)?
