Hi All

I remember a while back that some figures were bandied about on UKTC re risk
of being killed by falling trees. I seem to remember that the risk of being
struck by lightning was much greater and that was extremely low at that. I've
done a quick search on the archives but to no avail. I'm in the middle of
writing a TPO confirmation report which has to be finished this afternoon and
one of the objections raised is that deaths attributed to tree failures are
regularly shown on the TV news after storms. I know that this is tosh and can
pretty well refute this, but if I could put in some statistics it would be
handy. Any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Moray Simpson
