That's right Matt, and a lot of people have commented on the lack of
cohesive data in relation to tree related deaths or accidents in which
industry based figures are not included. However, I feel that casualties
to tree workers is a different animal to the death of an innocent member
of the public. When dealing with public safety, industry figures should
be separated ... However, the other way round, all figures would be
useful.

I often hear the figure of 6 or 7 deaths each year directly attributable
to trees or bits of trees falling on people -this does not account for
arborist deaths.
