wanting to plant trees.
In all Heathland restoration schemes I have seen, trees are removed or am
mis-understanding this Chair of Planning.

A heathland restoration project is in place for land adjacent to Councillor
Davis's land. This scheme was undertaken as part of a 106 agreement for a
planning application for a nearby quarry. Councillor Davis's woodland along
with stretches of woodland backing onto properties nearby weren't included in
this scheme. They were deliberately left to provide a wooded buffer zone
between the newly restored heathland and properties in the locality. Hope
this clears this one up.
