Andy Poynter is currently carrying out some research into hard surfaces
around trees and has asked me to pass on this message about a questionnaire
asking for your views. He has also requested that in order avoid slewing the
answers we don't enter into a debate about the questionnaire here. It would
be good if we could respect this request.

I am doing a research dissertation for my degree (at Writtle College), I
want to get an elementry industry consensus on peoples preference and what
they feel about hard surfacing near trees.

This web-based questionnaire has 10 multiple choice questions and should
take 3-5 minutes, all responses will be treated anonymously. Members need
to follow the link below;

I anticipate the survey will finish on 31st October 2008 and I will send
out reminders before then.
