'Bill Perhaps I'm in bit of a time warp, but I'm not aware of Sheffield
Council
using any such thing, or even a software package come to that.....
Perhaps Nick
or Ish can put me right?'

I use a tablet pc with AutoCAD installed and an excel sheet which is a
bit basic. I've been trying to get ARBORtrail or another piece of
software to make the job easier. Im pretty sure highways have CONarb
installed and would be able to so surveys using this and parks are due
to get it. I've worked at three councils now and only one Camden had
software (CONarb), Thurrock had been using ARBORtrail but stopped paying
the license before I started which was a bit of a pain but I believe
they are due to get it reinstalled at some point. I do now that a number
of London Councils use similar software packages. And I believe EZYtree
are based in Sheffield are they not.
