And if I remember rightly, the Airplane line was ........doesn’t mean shit
to a tree........ or were you unconsciously bowdlerizing for Chris/UKTC’s
sake??

Ruddy hell, I didn't think there was anyone out there as old as me or with
such good musical taste!!!

I think I need to start lifting or digging things for a living. I've only
just discovered, courtesy of Colin Tudge, that Leguminosae are now
Fabaceae, Compositae are Asteraceae, Palmae are Areaceae and Umbelliferaea
are Apiaceae.
I should have picked up my shovel when I learned some Hardwoods had the
softest wood, the Tasmanian Oak is a Eucalypt, the Mountain Ash is a
Sorbus, the Wollemi Pine isn't, the Parana, Norfolk Island and Chile Pines
are Auracaria, and Mahogany could be any one of a dozen or more trees.
Imagine my shock to discover that Fungi aren't plants and slime moulds
aren't fungi. You'll be telling me spiders aren't insects next.
