Hmmmmmm; the infection route for Ustulina seems to be a little confused;  are 
we saying it gets into a wound and then doesn't form a conk but does decay,  
only forming a conk when the decay gets back to the surface? Or are we saying 
 
it's a latent rotter, only activated when some unknown other thing activates 
it?  I need to do some more reading.....
 
Sometimes Large Hadron Colliders seem to be unnecessary when we've so   much 
to learn about stuff going on under our noses.
