Lots of room where these Koelreuteria where planted,
I've tried some Paulownia tomentosa in are local cemetery but they have
not done well. Of the ten planted four are dead, and
I've also tried a few Serbia spruce (Picea omorika) (in car parking
areas)
And a few dawn redwoods (again carparking area, with amsterdam tree
soil)
Not to mention the Nothofagus antarctica I got planted in front of a KFC
Or the juniperus 'sky rocket' and the Davidia involucrate in that other
carpark
The London plans have been put in to replace lime trees on an avenue
And the Eucalyptus debeuzevillei are smaller then gunnii, still big
(that one in Rainworth was still there last month).
Its all about making it a bit more interesting for the next tree
officer, or in some cases the CC street tree surveyor

Just planted 30 Koelreuteria paniculata as an experiment and I'm trying
some 10 Eucalyptus debeuzevillei, plus another 40 Platanus orientalis
'Minaret'. Lots of verity
Hi Sean, hope you've got lots of space for the Kp as it can have
something of a lax habit. Theres a photo of one alongside the Dee (I
think) on the MTOA website if you care to have a look. Might well be
called a character tree. The Eucs should go well though.
Theres a particularly fine grandis in Rainworth near the shops as long
as the local choppers haven't topped it.
Regards
Gareth
