No dig cellular confinement systems

Hi all

Following on from a recent development site discussion I'm interested to get
some thoughts on the issues below.

Do you have reservations in allowing proprietary no dig hard surfacing
systems in RPAs due to issues of the permeability being compromised over
time by fines.

Where these systems are implemented how do you ensure correct installation?
Is it unreasonable to condition an arb to be present during installation, is
it naive not to?

If such a system is installed over part of the RPA is it reasonable to
consider offsetting of the RPA on any other side as unacceptable?

As I specify these systems from time to time I'd like to think they are
genuinely effective. I suppose a final question would be does anyone know of
trees with RPAs under such systems for a prolonged period of time and how
well they are faring.

Regards
