A 'school' of arbs, in that we only stop learning long enough to squabble, 
bicker and bloody noses.  

Brilliant!  Now I know why I keep reading the phrase "we still know so little 
about trees" in various tomes.

Don't believe the bloody noses bit though - but i've not been to a conference 
before.

local authorities & have spare capacity. The day will consist of training in 
the use of THREATS, including advanced tree defect assessment, comprising a 
mix of class & field work. Probable venue St Albans.  Cost dependant on 
numbers, but no more than £180 (exc VAT).  Contact JFL or Sally on 01767
