I doubt if this is going to have much affect on an interesting debate that I was having with someone yesterday but in the context of carrying out a BS5837 survey I'd be interested to hear the forum's view on the following: If a tree is likely to cause damage to surrounding, existing hard structures should this be considered when assessing the tree's estimated remaining contribution?
