Morning all,
Being a little bored yesterday, and feeling the negative effects of the night
before, I started googling the weather as it turned my clay back garden into
a fishing lake...
Average November rainfall for my region (taken from Wisley records
1970-present) = 60mm
Current rainfall for this month = 167.7mm (taken from a local weather station
to me www.crondallweather.co.uk/)
However - and this may be of interest to us arbs - I've also gone back into
the Heathrow weather station records which date back to 1948. The only
calendar month to have exceeded this November's rainfall was October 1987
with 174.8mm. October 1987...
Heathrow data:

No wonder my garden is a bit soggy.... I'm glad I re-coppiced my alders last
month.
All the best,
Alex
