We went there on our way to Maiden Castle, a more substantial development 
altogether. What struck me, on a summer afternoon, was the complete absence 
of people. Quite spooky.

Yep, Poundbury is worth a visit. Not just the car park either, the old part 
of the development has some very nicely integrated trees. Not sure about the 
newer part though, looks to me like they haven't thought about how the 
development will sit within the landscape and have sited the large 3 and 4 
storey buildings on the most elevated part of the site.
Looks a bit raw at the moment.

Hold on, sorry, I've overstepped the mark. I'll go back to furtling around 
with trees.
