Dear Jim,
thank you for your comments on my contribution to the UKTC
forum. I have heard other voices expressing ....I don't really know what to
call it.. on MBT way of acting, teaching, treating Thermography for tree
assessment and I agree with you that my presence in the UK could be well
timed, especially because I feel that some people require some clarifications
that MBT has not been able to provide. Again, I'm repeating this once more,
I'm totally available to talk, and give demonstrations to anyone who cares to
listen, especially because some people have mixed feelings about thermography
and have probably failed to get the whole point of it.

I can only speak for myself, but, after 36 years in Thermal imaging, my
experience has taught me that you can't learn thermography of trees in 2
days. You need to know a bit of theory, then practice a lot, before becoming
a true expert.

I underline the fact that I have no Company, I don't manufacture or sell
apparatuses nor have a structured teaching activity: I have introduced the
method and I'd like that at least it will be managed according to best
practice.

Last but not least, having read some contributions to the thread it seems to
me that some contributors write ideas or respond according to the last
contribution they read, taking no care of the first one that gives the clue
of the question: I'VE BEEN ACCUSED by MBT
- of having fell foul of not properly investigating TI and trees
- that my trial in Holland went badly wrong with perfectly healthy, large
trees being felled
- that "we (whoever?) tried to persue him (me) not to get involved ....... so
as to protect Giorgio's reputation
- the dutch haven't been so forth coming about telling people...(please, read
the contribution of Joris Voeten)

at this point on the screen of the Comoedy appears a Sam (?????) who knows
me and protects me: how many defendants! I'm "a very well respect
thermographer", I'm no stupid.

That MBT is a genius at irrigating trees is good for him and for the guy that
said he lost 50% of his trees, that he is good at many other things is good
for him and I'm glad for him but why should he offend me to (I believe) try
to defend himself?
Regards
Giorgio
