AArb -I think Paul hoping TI was going to be "the next big thing" was being
optimistic, something that his AARC adviser also seemed to be iffy about. I
suspect the next "next big thing" won't be that big either.

Bill I at no point optimistically 'hoped' that TI was going to be the next
big thing. My very limited experience with Picus has shown me that it is
not perfect and that its users can also use it for their own ends. My
interest and hopes for TI were in the fact it is non destructive and
therefore invaluable as a tool whether you are entirely convinced by it or
not. I can't help my inexperience but I can try my level best to do what is
right in every circumstance given the knowledge I have - thats a
professional approach as well as a moral standing. I do not apologize if
that sounds incredibly over moral to anyone; but if it does perhaps they
need to check in with themselves before proudly stating their credentials at
the end of every post.

AArb - In all Marcus retains my respect if not necessarily for the TI stuff
then for lots of other stuff he did before this lot blew up.

Apologies; my only experience of Marcus have been TI Licensee related.
Never heard of him before. I also remember stating in the beginning of my
tirade that I didn't dislike or judge him. This only 'blew up' because he
didn't bother to address it or put it out - if it was a spat on the rugby
field or in a bar its obvious how it would be resolved; trouble is people
like me are seen as too far down the pecking order to be considered of
consequence therefore liable to be abused. In the modern world respect is
something earned not just doled out because you have letters after your
name. Seemingly my 'attack' has proved to be grounded in truth and some
have benefitted by my willingness to shout about it.
You made the comment at the time Bill that at least I could put the TI
course on my CPD register. Should I also put my BAGA Gymnastics awards on
there too. They've been a lot more relevant and useful in my career!

Aarb - In all I'd've been happier if it had not been aired through the UKTC.

Why? I appreciate that the method may have grated and have apologised.
Given the content of many of the postings that I receive from UKTC I am
increasingly aware that perhaps I need to roll up my trouser leg a little or
have the secret hand shake in order to fit in. If the AA conference had
anything that interested me this/last year I would have definately selected
my I HATE PEOPLE T Shirt rather than my blue sport jacket, suede trousers
and brogues. You've commented throughout all of this so I can only conclude
you're either lonely or bored. It seems to me that despite how it all
commenced the whole thing has raised the profile of TI so no bad thing there
and MBT has had every opportunity to add to his 'brilliance' by just saying
I messed up and i'm sorry instead of arrogantly trying to deny everything.

Before disappearing for a tres bonne fete (again- god I love France! Hardly
a tight, pinched face (or arse) in sight ) i'd just like to say:
- thanks for all the help with spelling members of UKTC has given me over
the last year. Every post is like a mini dissertation to some, rolled up and
used as a stick to keep the less qualified away; (I never once saw MBT
criticised for his appalling spelling - maybe he has no peers). (careful it
doesn't get rolled tighter, robbed by a bigger boy and ...)
I'd like to thank the TV company that rang up just after i'd posted on
Plymouth Pear for an exclusive for their documentary - still waiting to see
it aired despite not contributing. (apologies to nursery for cancelling the
order after this too - the pears are indeed sour).
Thanks to many for all the crap I've had to deal with this year - you really
are to kind but it only gives me strength to carry on.
I'd also like to thank many, for making me understand the distinction
between Professionalism and professionalism.
After all its the detail that counts.
etc etc

I honestly do wish you ALL have a very Happy New Year wherever you are, but
whilst casting your gaze abroad from your ivory tower (should you be 'lucky'
enough to have one) try not to forget where the ivory came from or how the
bent grizzled fingers worked away at it to fit your pompous overqualified
and often incapable ass.
Whilst raising your glass tonight think too of fellowship with the common
man, the afflicted, persecuted enslaved and bereaved around the world if you
can bring yourself to. Remember you're probably only where you are because
they are where they are.
Try not to worry about the revolution....we'll make it as painless as we
can.
