If you've a copy, or can get a copy of Hilliers 'Designer Guide', there
is a good picture of one in a car park. That's about what you get at 10
yrs. Dense in the crown and upwardly swept branches. Sensitive to a lack
of water during establishment (3yrs) in the common, harsh street tree
planting sites and will die if not allowed the space in the pit, to get
it roots out into the surrounding ground. Doesn't like compacted
surroundings.

Morning all,
Does anyone have any experience of the above tree?
It has been specified by a Landscape Artichoke for a car park planting,
and I've never heard of it, beyond a general suspicion of the cultivar
name and an equal suspicion of new cultivrs that don't live up to
promise in the long term.
Thanks,
Topher
