Hi Tony

My point is how do you know this?  Seeing fruiting bodies of G. 
adspersum/australe on Horse Chestnuts in advanced decline is not enough or 
persuasive evidence.  By similar reasoning, I could claim hearses or grave 
diggers are the cause of death in most humans.
