I just ordered Mycelium Running. Had a leaf through a bit of it online and it
does look really interesting. Would have totally passed me by, thanks Bill
and Phillip for pointing him out. Dom

I missed that reply bill thanks, yes to Tahir also, Stamets is a great mind,
and his books offer many very deep insights.
I hadnt thought of stamets style, and your right too, I am going to have to
dig out growing gourmet and medicinal fungi again and remind myself why his
writing appealed to me so much before.
Many thanks.
tony

The Stamets books are very interesting.

Dear Tony, I've very little to add to the many comments already
submitted. But, like them, I fully encourage your intentions. And
again, as others have said, you only have to make the distinction
between what you know (have read/heard elsewhere) and what you
believe as a result of your observations. One of my Christmas books
this year was Paul Stamets' Mycellium Running. Tremendously full of
science and references, but he doesn't hold back by making
suggestions as to what may also be happening. He may be wrong, he
may be right, but it's clear that it is a statement of his thinking
and yet to be proved. The very best of luck. Regards, Bill
