Well m'lud my client has a right to trim the tree as it overhangs the
flats community garden of which he is part owner. They weren't served
with a copy of the TPO at the time it was made as required by virtue of
the regulations. I contend that the TPO is defective to the point of
uselessness. And that's before I start on common law right v statutory
protection.

I thought one of the points of the review was to remove all that faff
with sending everybody in a block of flats a copy of the order...... So
I'd be inclined to wing it, after all "ignorance is no defence." And
f'crying out loud, we're trying to cut down our use of everything, which
includes sheets of paper.
