brief review of mistletoe's local status for the Cotteswold Naturalists'
Field Club is easily googled and Figure 1 provides an enlightening

Anecdotally I think it was very scarce here (Nottingham) ten fifteen years
ago and is increasingly frequent. Someone round us propagates it onto street
tree Norway maples, which is fun.

Someone on UKTC a few years ago speculated that we don't see it in the North,
and I can't say I can think of any hereabouts. That said I was heading home
down the A1 from Harrogate the other weekend and I noticed a large clump in a
tree, just south of the M62, too high up for a bit of human propogation I
suspect Edmund.
