Just my opinion - not here to be provocative (look at my lovely smile!)
Loppers should be banned along with those stupid pole saws (powered and
otherwise) as devices for making low-quality pruning cuts!
Get off the ground!

That's what I should be aiming to do, it's just a height issue, things like
apricots are just insane they can grow 1 mtr a year to keep them to a
"manageable from the ground size" is impossible without loppers. I need a
small mobile platform.
