There's an excel sheet at the following with abbreviations for you
Chris if you have alook round or ask I tree I know there are longer
lists. This has about 150 but have seen access databases from USA with
around 500 species. All seem to be based around same methods so no
conflict I am aware of. Hope this helps although im sure you LL never
work out they a is for Acer.

Subject: RE: Latin abbreviations
Chris
Just seen one of the postings giving examples of abbreviated Latin.
I am not sure why you need such a list but if it is to put on plans I
suggest you use Chinese - it
will be just as intelligible to the lay man as abbreviated Latin.
Or maybe it's for a quiz for arb students?
