How about Germaine Greer. She knows a thing or two about trees. In
fact her article on Phythopthora ramorum was very well informed. Only
reason for buying the Torygraph at the weekend!

As Ms Greer is Professor of something or other at Warwick and the last
conference was at Warwick I suggested that the AA got her in to speak on some
tree related subject of her choice. I saw her article on P Ramorum Moray, way
above the standard of most Journos her thoughts on woodland creation and the
flogging of the FC were also more (er) thoughtful than most.
Yeah the only reason for buying the rag!
