For those of you with an hour free who are also interested in what is going
on with GI and
valuation, this link is for you. If you have less time, once you have
mastered the technology there
may be a few gems.
The main reason for posting is that NE is considering funding a project to
value a whole city's GI;
it is likely to go out to competitive tender so if any "city" is listening
and into that sort of
thing I would spend the hour watching/listening and then, probably watch NE
(Natural England)'s
website for when bids are asked for (I assume). Clearly it won't just be a
"tree" thing but getting
the trees on the map/radar screen would be useful.
