Hi Jim,

Had a conversation about the new top handled stihl the other day and
there are several recurring issues including the throwing off of chains
as well ... Oh, and a known problem with the carburettors but stihl do a
carb swap under warranty for that issue. But, don't get me wrong, it
remains a favourite for tree surgery.

Dear All,
A colleague of mine has just bought one of these and there is a problem
with the chain brake - stiff and awkward to use. A friend of his has
returned two of this model to the dealer. No response back from Stihl.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Jim
