RE: LPA exemption from section 211 conservation area notice?

Subject: RE: LPA exemption from section 211 conservation area notice?

'In my view the Parks Section or LPA tree managers should always put notices
up on Council sites to explain what they're doing anyway, it's not hard is
it?'

Not hard at all but as Ron has said is often overlooked due to heaps of
having to deal with other similar tree related maters where such a simple act
can be overlooked. But the public should have confidence with the LPA in that
the matter is being dealt with by a competent authority. However in certain
circumstances where large and much loved trees are affected and where no
notice has been erected for example one may find that the Tree Officer has to
back-track and justify the reasons for the work by letter etc; to those
various aggrieved parties/Councillors concerned, which takes time. The act of
notification would save all the hassle providing opportunities for others to
acquire a second opinion or just time to deliberate and prepare.
