Hi Rupert
I started off with Oxyporous but the descriptions and size did not fit, after
Chris suggestion about Chicken I am favouring that now, just unusual on
Poplar. The FB was about 150mm across and 2m from the ground on a 400mm
diameter stem.
thanks to all who replied

It has the look of Oxyporus, but Phillips says the brackets are only 3-6cm
across; what scale is the photo/how big was the fruit-body?

Hi
This FB is on a White Poplar about 2m up, any thoughts would be appreciated,
doesn't appear to fit exactly any of the usual suspects Perenniporia or
Phellinus,
Thanks
Andy
